False teachings of the Muslim terrorist

This is a rebuttal of the false teachings of the muslim terrorist, dr.seimoon, who attacked my website on Prophet Mohammed’s birthday, 5th February 2012 in order to propagate their false teachings. Prophet Mohammed’s birthday should have been a joyous occasion and a day for celebration but the occasion was marred by the muslim terrorist who went on a rampage to destroy all good works. The muslim terrorist attack was pretty vicious according to the report from the hosting personnel. Both my websites / blogs were down

We must do good works like Jesus

We must do good works like Jesus I quote what Jesus said in John 8:48-53 and John 8:54-58

The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”

“I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge. I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.”

Judgement and Judgement Day

Judgement and Judgement Day

I guess I had to write a bit more about judgement and judgement day as my previous article, sin suffering sacrifice and judgement, did not delve much into judgement or judgement day. I will probably have more articles on judgement and judgement day but for now I quote 1 Samuel 3:1-21

A case of judgement day: The Lord Calls Samuel

The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.

One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could

Sin Suffering Sacrifice and Judgement

Sin, Suffering, Sacrifice and Judgement Sin and suffering

Sin, suffering, sacrifice and judgement are inter-related. Our sin will cause us to suffer. In life we face many troubles, some minor and some insurmountable. Many a times we don’t do anything as we are paralysed into inaction. We then let these problems fester until the mole hill becomes a mountain. After that we panic and run around like crazy, defensively reacting to something that could have been and should have been attended to very much earlier. I have been there many times so I understand the situation very well.

Life is

The Year of the Lords Favour | Lord's Favour, Isaiah

The Year of the Lord’s Favour

In Isaiah 61, the prophet Isaiah says

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God , to comfort all who mourn, and to provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead

Sinner’s Prayer the Lamb of God and the Kingdom of Heaven

The Sinner’s Prayer, the Lamb of God and the Kingdom of Heaven

This is what the Prophet Jeremiah, around 626 BC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremiah), says in Jeremiah 17:14 “Heal me O Lord, and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved, for you are the one I praise.” Could this be considered as an example of a Sinner’s Prayer?

Sinner’s Prayer

There is no biblical reference for the term “ Sinner’s Prayer”. The term does appear to be a more recent development and the internet seems to be full of debate over this issue. But I tell you that

Lord’s Justice | Lord's Justice

Justice

And the Word of the Lord came to Micah of Moresheth during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah – the vision he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Micah 1:2 “Hear, O peoples, all of you, listen, O earth and all who are in it, that the Sovereign Lord may witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. Look the Lord is coming down from his dwelling-place; he comes down and treads the high places of the earth. The mountains melt beneath him and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like water

The Ten Commandments

1 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.  “You shall have no other gods before me.

2 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to

The Temple of Doom

My guess is that you are probably wondering whether it is possible to extract some understanding of economics, investments, speculation and market crashes from the Bible.  I had written this article, on 30th December 2009, as a chapter of my book “The Art of Recession” and I thought it would be interesting for you to understand how closely we imitate the Lord God’s words but for an alternative purpose. Hence I reproduce the whole article without modification below:-

The Temple of Doom

This is the last part in the five part series that explains why the crash was so severe.
